I've heard so many positive stories about getting it done overseas that it makes me want to try it. However, I'm hesitant because it involves going abroad, and I need to factor in visa requirements, flights, and the risk of being away from home. Not to mention the various expenses.

Honestly, I'm not sure how worthwhile it is compared to getting it done domestically, since there are so many options now. Plus, there's a lot of research and preparation involved. Has anyone gone abroad and could share their experience? Why was it worth it, or is it really not that different from getting it done in Thailand?
