Hi everyone! So I'm going to Korea next month and plan to try some treatments there. I really want to prepare myself as best as possible, especially for aftercare. I know my skin needs extra care after treatment, and I want to ensure a smooth recovery.
So, I wanted to ask, what do you usually bring from home or buy there? I've heard people talk about cooling masks, silicone scar sheets, and soothing gels. But I honestly don't know which ones are worth bringing from Indonesia or if it's better to just look for them there. What about prices and availability? I'm a bit worried that the items I bring from home will be heavy in my luggage, hehe.
Does anyone have any experience? What products have been really helpful for you during recovery? And do you actually need all of them, or are there some you can avoid? Thanks, everyone. I hope you can share your experiences! 🙏

I'm actually considering a similar trip myself, so your question really hit home for me! I'm also torn about what to bring versus just buying things there. I think your preparation is really thorough, and I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else has to say!
I completely understand your feelings! When I went last time, I was also torn about whether to bring a bunch of stuff from home. But I found out that you can actually get a lot of skincare products locally, and the drugstore beauty shops have a really great selection. My advice would be to just bring some basic moisturizers that you've already used and that your skin is used to — that should be enough. You can probably get everything else locally, which is more convenient and won't make your luggage overweight. Can't wait to hear what you share when you get back!
