Hi everyone! My name is Tam, and I'm planning to try my first nose filler injection while in Korea. I'm worried because I have to fly back to Vietnam in a few days, so I'd like to ask about the recovery time.
How long does it take for the swelling and bruising to go away after a non-surgical nose filler injection? Can I cover up the remaining swelling with makeup? Those of you who have had it done, please tell me how you estimated the recovery time.
I'm wondering if I should get it done 3-4 days before my flight or if I should allow extra buffer time because I don't want to go home looking like I've just been beaten up, haha. Anyone with experience, please share your thoughts! Thanks!

I've done this too! I chose to wait about 5-6 days before flying back because there's actually quite a bit of swelling in the first few days. But everyone's experience isn't the same. Try asking the clinic how long they recommend waiting before traveling, as some people recover faster! 😊
I was thinking about this too, Tâm! I feel more at ease hearing people say that if you wait long enough (about 5-7 days), most of the swelling will significantly decrease, and makeup will cover the rest. Maybe it's better to carefully plan your flight home to be safer. 😊
Hi! Based on our experience, if you're only going home for a short time, it might be better to wait 5-7 days or so, depending on each person's body. We have friends whose swelling subsided quickly and others who took longer. So, it's probably best to consult your doctor during your pre-procedure consultation to get a clearer plan.
