Hello everyone, I'm hui. I've been wanting to get a cosmetic procedure done in Korea recently, but as a Chinese person unfamiliar with the area, I really don't know how to find a trustworthy clinic. I've looked at many recommendations, but the online information is so varied, and I feel a bit uneasy.
I'd like to ask friends with experience: what channels do you usually use to find clinics? For example, do you look at forum discussions, ask friends, or use other methods? Also, what should I pay attention to during the initial consultation? For instance, is it necessary to find my own translator to accompany me, or do clinics themselves offer multilingual consultation services? My English is okay, but I'm a bit worried about not understanding medical terminology.
I also want to ask, what questions do you ask before choosing to determine if a clinic is reliable? For example, the doctor's qualifications, their attitude during pre-operative consultations, etc.? I'd be really grateful if you could share some experiences and advice, as this is still a bit nerve-wracking for me.

I understand that feeling of anxiety! I felt the same way at first. In my case, I went through multiple consultations and looked at whether I could properly understand the doctor's explanations, if they rushed me, and if they answered my questions patiently. Some friends brought interpreters, and others communicated in English, so I think it's important to choose the method that makes you feel most at ease. Good luck!
