Hi everyone, I'm Ting. I've been thinking about getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul recently, but as someone from mainland China, the idea of flying all the way there makes me a bit hesitant. I know Korea has a great reputation and experience in this area, but I'd love to hear everyone's honest thoughts – is it really worth the hassle for just one surgery?
I'm mainly struggling with a few things: First, what about the recovery period? If I fly back, can I get on a plane immediately? Are there any risks involved? Second, communication before and after the surgery – will language be an issue? I feel like medical details can be hard to express clearly in English. Third, what happens if I'm not satisfied with the results afterward?
Maybe I should consult a few clinics in China first and compare them. But then again, I've heard some friends who went to Korea were really happy with both the results and the overall experience. I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and can share how you made your decision? I'm feeling a bit conflicted right now and unsure about my priorities.
