Hi everyone, I'm Huiwen from Taiwan. I'm thinking of getting a skin treatment in Seoul, but my Korean is really bad, and reading reviews is so frustrating. Many people say to check Google reviews or forums, but I can't understand Korean at all, and I'm hesitant to blindly trust translation software. Could anyone share how you determine the authenticity of reviews?
My biggest fear is being taken to a place that pushes you to buy more items, or having results that aren't as amazing as the reviews claim. Some people suggest looking at the details of the reviews, checking for anything strange. For example, should I be wary of too many seemingly identical five-star reviews? Or would it be safer to choose a clinic with English or Chinese customer service?
If you have any red flags you'd like to warn foreigners about, please share! I don't need specific recommendations; I just want to hear everyone's experiences on how to choose more carefully. Thank you!
