Hi everyone! I'm planning a minor cosmetic procedure in Korea and am currently doing my research for the recovery period. I've heard that post-operative care is especially important in the first few days, so I'm thinking of buying some over-the-counter products to bring with me.
I'm considering packing things like cooling masks, silicone scar patches, and soothing gels. But honestly, I'm not sure which products will actually help, or even if I'll actually need them. Has anyone had a similar procedure in Korea? What post-operative care products did you use? Did you bring them from home, or did you buy them there?
Also, I'd like to ask if it's more convenient or cheaper to buy these things locally? Or is it more reassuring to prepare in advance? I'm a bit torn about whether to pack my suitcase full of care products, haha. Looking forward to hearing everyone's experiences!

I'm also considering a similar project, so your post really resonated with me! I think your ideas are very practical. I'm currently struggling with whether to bring products from China or buy them locally in Seoul. Many people say buying locally is more convenient because you can choose based on your needs, but preparing in advance also gives me peace of mind. Looking forward to everyone's replies! 😄
I'm also struggling with this issue! Are you planning to bring everything from China, or buy it in Korea and see what happens? I've heard that Korea has a huge selection of skincare products, but I don't know if I can find post-operative soothing products there.
I'm struggling with the same thing, so this post is really helpful! I feel like buying locally would be safer because there's a wider variety and I can actually try them out to see if they suit my skin, but what's the reality? I'd love to hear about everyone's experiences.
I totally get the overthinking here — I did the same thing before my trip! Honestly, I ended up bringing like half my suitcase of stuff and barely used most of it. I'd say grab the essentials before you go (cooling masks are clutch), but you can definitely find basic aftercare products at convenience stores once you're there, which honestly felt less stressful than lugging everything from home.
Wow, I was thinking about this too! But I'm curious, when you recover, how many days does it usually take for you to leave the house or start feeling normal again? I'm worried about bringing too many products and not using them all, hehe.
