Hello! Lately, my skin wasn't just dry; it was stressful because the texture looked even more pronounced when I wore makeup.
So, I decided to take care of my skin texture and am leaving a review after getting the Gwangju Juve Look Volume treatment. Here are some photos of my skin beforehand!
When I was in my 20s, my skin would usually recover quickly even if I stayed up all night, but now that I'm in my 30s, it shows immediately on my face when I'm tired!
My makeup kept creasing, especially around my nose and cheeks, and under the lights, my skin texture looked bumpy, so I ended up zooming in every time I took a picture.
I tried changing my basic skincare routine and consistently using ampoules and face masks, but it only felt like it got better for a brief moment, which was disappointing.
So, with the idea of improving my skin condition from the inside out, I looked into Gwangju Juve Look Volume, made a reservation, and visited! I liked that during the consultation, they didn't just focus on volume; instead, they examined my skin condition in detail to see which areas looked dull and where to focus the treatment to make the texture look less tired.
I told them I wanted my skin to look healthy, and they explained the Gwangju Juve Look Volume treatment in that direction, so I felt comfortable during the consultation.
Honestly, before the Gwangju Juve Look Volume procedure, I was worried it might sting, but it wasn't as painful as I expected!
Of course, the sensation varied depending on the area, and the cheekbones felt a bit sensitive with the needles poking in, but it wasn't unbearable.
When I looked in the mirror afterward, my face was slightly red, as if it had heated up, and when I touched it, there was a subtle tingling sensation deep inside my skin. I was able to wear makeup starting the next day, but for the first few days, I applied it as thinly as possible and focused solely on moisturizing.
I feel a bit embarrassed taking a close-up shot to show my skin clearly, haha. The right side is before the Gwangju Juve Look Volume treatment, and the left side is after. Can you see the difference in my skin texture and nasolabial folds?
After about 3 days, the redness had almost completely subsided, and after about a week, I could feel a difference in the texture when I touched my skin!!
Previously, my skin felt a bit rough after washing my face, but after the treatment, when I touched it with my hands, it felt a bit smoother and more refined.
I particularly noticed a difference when applying makeup in the morning. Since the foundation didn't feel like it was settling into my pores as much as before, it made me feel good for no reason while getting ready for work, haha.
When I met a friend, they told me my skin looked good, and I thought I made the right decision to do it!
It felt like my skin condition was slowly settling over time, so it actually felt quite natural. Of course, skin types and reactions may vary from person to person.
Since I have a dry skin type that gets rough easily,
I think Gwangju Juve Look Volume was pretty good for me.
For those of you who, like me, have been secretly stressed about makeup creasing or skin texture,
I think it would be helpful to just take note of this as an alternative skincare approach.

Woah! My skin has been looking dull lately too, so I've been looking into it. By any chance, do you know where you got the Gwangju Jube Look Volume done?
Did you really notice a difference in your skin texture after getting the Juve Look Volume treatment? I'm really worried because my makeup keeps creasing and flaking whenever I wear it lately, so I'm curious.
I noticed it first when I was applying makeup! In the past, I used to feel like foundation would settle around my nose and cheeks, but after getting the treatment, my skin feels more even, so I don't mind it as much anymore haha.
I'm curious about the pain level!! Also, I'm wondering where the Juve Look Volume in Gwangju is; I would appreciate it if you could let me know :)
I was really nervous going in, too, but the Juvelook Volume wasn't as painful as I thought! I could bear it haha. I had it done at MOO in Gwangju~
