Hello everyone, I'm Yao. I've been considering getting some skin treatments and possibly some minor cosmetic adjustments in Korea recently, but as a Chinese person in a foreign country, I'm feeling a bit unsure. I wanted to ask everyone, how did you find trustworthy clinics? Are there any channels or methods you used to avoid pitfalls?
My biggest concern is the language barrier and miscommunication. Has anyone been able to share how the clinic's translation services are? Is it more common to consult in Chinese or English? I'm worried that some important details might be lost in translation, which is really unsettling.
Also, what do you usually look at when choosing a clinic? Is it online reviews, recommendations from friends, or other methods? What kind of research or questions should I prepare before going? I'd be very grateful for any sisters who can share their experiences!

Hi Yao! I totally understand your concerns about language, it's definitely a big challenge. By the way, have you tried looking for chat groups or online communities for Chinese expats in Korea? They can usually help provide references for hospitals with Mandarin-speaking staff, making communication smoother.
