Hi everyone! So I'm planning to get a minor aesthetic procedure done while I'm in Korea next month, but I'm a bit nervous about the recovery timeline since I'll be traveling right after. Has anyone dealt with post-procedure swelling while on a trip? I'm mainly worried about flying home and just getting through the first week or so.
I'm trying to figure out what aftercare products are actually worth bringing with me or buying there. Like, is it worth packing ice packs, or should I just buy cooling masks or patches when I arrive? Also, I'm not sure what over-the-counter stuff helps with swelling—is that something people typically bring from home or find easily in Korea? I want to be prepared but also don't want to overpack.
Any advice on what made recovery easier for you while traveling would be super helpful! I know everyone heals differently, but I'd love to hear what actually worked for you guys. Thanks in advance!

Reading your post, I totally get it. I was also shocked by the swelling after getting a tattoo 😅 In reality, you really have to take care of yourself during the first week, but if you prepare well, I think you'll get through it. Just make sure you're mentally ready first!
I'm also planning a similar trip and wanted to ask if you plan to get your treatments done before returning home, or if you'll wait until you're back to recover slowly? I'm a bit worried that the long flight time might worsen swelling, and I was wondering if you've considered this issue?
