Hey everyone, I'm kind of stuck on a decision and would love to hear how others have thought through this. I'm considering getting a procedure done, and I keep going back and forth between doing it locally in the US versus making a trip to Korea.
Obviously Korea has a reputation for being ahead on a lot of aesthetic stuff, and part of me is really drawn to that. But I'm also wondering about the logistics — recovery time when you're far from home, language barriers (even though I know many places have English-speaking staff), and honestly just the stress of coordinating everything from abroad. Then there's the cost factor too, though I'm still trying to figure out if it actually comes out cheaper when you factor in flights and accommodation.
I guess what I'm really asking is: did anyone else go through this decision? Did you end up choosing Korea and feel like it was worth it? Or did you decide to stick with somewhere closer to home? I'm not asking anyone to convince me either way — I just want to understand what actually mattered most to you when you were weighing it up. Any thoughts would be really helpful right now!

I totally get your dilemma! I'm wrestling with the same questions and feel like the points you've listed are super realistic – recovery time, language barriers, plus the cost of flights and accommodation, it really requires careful consideration. I hope to hear about everyone's real experiences, because online information can sometimes be a bit unreliable 😅
I totally get your dilemma! I've wavered between the two myself, and in the end, I decided to come to Korea to try it out, mainly because I wanted to see firsthand the techniques I'd seen in videos. But the concerns you've raised are really valid – my biggest worry right now is having to stay in a foreign place for so long during recovery. While language isn't the biggest issue, the whole process definitely requires a lot of communication. If you eventually decide you want to hear about my experience, feel free to ask me anytime!
