Hi everyone, I'm Hanh from Vietnam. I'm planning to have a minor procedure in Seoul but will have to fly back home immediately afterward (about 3-4 days). I'm worried about wound care and reducing swelling during the flight and the first few days at home.
Does anyone have experience bringing skincare products from Korea back home? What should I prepare to help the wound heal well and minimize swelling? I've heard there are special post-procedure masks or creams, but I don't know which ones are actually effective or just hype.
Also, what should I ask my doctor before flying? I'm worried about swelling or any problems on the plane 😅 Can anyone share some tips with me? Thank you!

Wow, that's a really tricky situation, having to fly in a few days! I'm curious, has the doctor there told you how long it usually takes for the swelling to go down? Maybe that could help you plan the right products before your flight.
Sister, did you ask your doctor if it's safe to fly long distances after 3-4 days before deciding on your itinerary? I'm also worried about this and don't know how long it's safe to fly again 😅
I'm also considering doing the same procedure and flying back, so I totally understand your concerns! I think the most important thing is to ask your doctor directly after the procedure for specific care instructions and precautions for flying. They should be able to give you very practical advice. As for products, I've heard that gentle, moisturizing ones are enough; you don't necessarily need to buy anything particularly expensive. The key is to follow your doctor's instructions carefully. 😊
