Hi everyone, I'm Hsinyi from Taiwan. I've been considering getting a treatment in Korea lately, but to be honest, I'm a little nervous and unsure how to plan the trip and budget. I've never had a beauty treatment abroad before, so I have a lot of questions.
First, regarding the budget, I know treatments in Korea are generally cheaper than in Taiwan, but I'm unsure how much money I should allocate for airfare, accommodation, and food, besides the treatment itself. Could anyone share some tips on budgeting? I'd like to know how many days I should stay – is it enough to come back the day after the treatment, or should I stay longer to allow my skin to recover?
Another issue is time management. I'm wondering if I should get a consultation first and then come back a few weeks later for the treatment? Or can I combine the consultation and treatment into one trip? Has anyone made a similar arrangement and can share their experience? I'm a little worried that I might not plan well and end up making a wasted trip.

I'm also from outside Korea and I completely understand your concern! The truth is, when I first went, I booked a consultation online or by phone before traveling, and this helped me a lot in organizing my trip. Regarding the number of days, I think one week is comfortable for the consultation, the procedure, and a little rest afterward, but everyone is different depending on the type of procedure.
I also traveled from Taiwan, and my advice is to stay at least 3-5 days for peace of mind. This gives your skin time to recover before flying. I consulted online first, and then waited two weeks before getting the procedure done. I felt more at ease knowing I had time to prepare!
