Hi everyone, I'm Maya from Indonesia and I'm thinking about trying aesthetic treatment in Korea next year. But honestly, I'm a bit overwhelmed with the planning, especially regarding the total budget. I've never been to Korea before, so I wanted to ask someone who has experience.
So I'm curious, approximately how long is the minimum stay I'll need? Is there a consultation before the procedure, or can I just go straight to it? And what about recovery time—do I have to stay at the treatment center or can I stay in a regular hotel? I'm quite worried about coordinating with the clinic from a distance, and I'm afraid there will be hidden costs I didn't expect.
Maybe someone can give me some insight on how to organize an itinerary if I combine treatment with exploring? I'd also like to find out how long it typically takes people to recover before they can comfortably travel or eat at normal restaurants. I think I'll need a budget for flights, hotel, treatment, plus extra for contingencies, but I'm still confused about how to start.
Anyone willing to share their experiences or tips for first-timers? Appreciate it! 🙏

Hi Maya! I'm also from Indonesia and considering the same thing, so I totally understand your concerns, hehe. It looks like you've already asked all the important questions—maybe we can share some info if anyone meets up, since this isn't my first time either. Hopefully, someone here can provide some concrete insight into timeline and budget planning! 🙏
Oh my God, Maya, I also thought about the same thing and I feel the same concern! 😅 The first step I advise you to take is to contact several clinics to understand exactly how much time it will take and what the approximate cost will be, because every case is different and thank God many people from outside Korea have dealt with them successfully.
Hi Maya! This is also my first time going to Korea for treatment, and I'm currently worried about the budget 😅 I wanted to ask if you've researched which treatments are available, or are you still considering them? I've heard that the recovery periods for different treatments vary greatly, so I can plan my trip and budget more accurately.
I sympathize with you, Maya! I'm planning something similar and my head feels overwhelmed 😅 But I'm glad to see that others have so much experience here, because if we plan ahead and contact advisors properly, it should be manageable. I'd also like to know how others have handled recovery and travel, in case there are things we've missed!
