The doctor said I could travel abroad about a week later, but I'm a little worried about post-procedure swelling and aftercare. I wanted to ask everyone, what do you usually pack when you travel with a recovery period?

I'm a bit unsure about what skincare to bring right now. Besides basic moisturizing lotion, has anyone suggested bringing something for cold compresses? Also, has anyone traveled abroad during their post-procedure care period? How long does swelling typically last? I'm concerned that sitting on a plane might make the swelling worse.

Additionally, I'd like to ask if there are any daily care tips that can help reduce swelling. I know the doctor will give me post-procedure care instructions, but I've heard that it might not be possible to do all the home care when traveling abroad, so I wanted to hear about everyone's experiences first.
