Hi everyone, I'm Fang, from China. I'm currently considering getting a cosmetic procedure done in South Korea, but as a foreigner, I'm really unsure where to begin. My biggest concerns are language barriers and finding a reliable clinic, as these are significant issues.
I'd like to ask those of you with experience: how do you usually find clinics? Do you rely on friends' recommendations, reviews, or other methods? Also, do hospitals usually provide translators during consultations? Are they their own translators or do I need to find one myself? My English is okay, but I really don't understand medical terminology…
Furthermore, what questions should I ask the doctor during my first consultation to determine if the clinic is professional? Are there any warning signs I should be wary of? I know everyone's situation is different, but I'd like to hear your practical experiences to give me a better understanding. Thank you!
