My name is Hong, and I'm currently considering going to South Korea for a minor cosmetic procedure. However, I don't know where to begin planning the trip. Besides the procedure itself, I need to factor in airfare, accommodation, food, and I'm not sure how long I'll need to stay for recovery and follow-up appointments.
I'd like to ask anyone who has experienced this – how many days is a reasonable duration for such a trip? I've read some articles that say you need time for swelling to subside and to limit activity, but I'm still unsure exactly how long that should be. And I'm quite worried about the cost because I'm just an employee, so I need to plan my savings beforehand.
Does anyone have experience and can share how they budgeted for a trip like this? I'm considering whether to have the procedure done in Vietnam or in South Korea, but I've heard the quality and technology there are better. However, I'm not sure if the "long journey" is worth it. Please give me some advice!

I'm wondering the same thing, Hong! It seems like you'll need a decent budget for flights, hotels, and recovery time, which can take a week or more depending on the procedure. Hopefully, someone can share their experience here, as I'd also like to know how to manage my budget wisely. 😊
Hi Hong, I'm also considering this. Did you ask your doctor how long they said I should stay? I've read many articles, but the numbers vary, so I'm confused and don't know if I should take a few weeks off or what.
