Hello everyone, I'm Hong. I've been considering getting some medical aesthetic procedures in Korea recently, but as a foreigner, I'm a bit apprehensive. I'd like to ask for your advice: how do you find trustworthy clinics?
I'm particularly interested in a few questions: First, what channels do you usually use to learn about and filter clinics? Do you rely on forum recommendations, friend referrals, or are there other methods? Second, what's the communication like during consultations? My English is decent, but medical terminology might be a bit difficult to grasp. Has anyone used translation services? What was that experience like?
Also, what questions do you typically ask clinics during your initial consultation? Are there any red flags we should be aware of? I really care about whether the doctor is patient in answering questions and can clearly explain the procedures and potential outcomes. I hope you can share some experiences. Thank you!
