Are there others out there who suffer from severe dry eyes like me? I try my best to take care of them by using artificial tears and applying warm compresses regularly.
But it seems to be getting worse, and it’s really frustrating.
By the afternoon, it feels like there are grains of sand rolling around in my eyes, and by evening, they sting so much that it’s hard to even keep them open. I want to look at my phone and rest when I get home, but my eyes hurt so much that I often end up going to bed early. I go to the ophthalmologist to get medication and take supplements, but it doesn't feel like a fundamental solution. Because of this, I’ve even started thinking about surgery.
However, I’ve heard that LASIK or LASEK can actually make dry eyes worse, so I’m hesitating. Since my eyes are already this dry, I feel like there really won't be a solution if it gets any worse.
If anyone has suffered from chronic dry eyes like me and had surgery, please let me know what your experience was like. I would really appreciate your advice.

I used to have really severe dry eyes, but after getting Smile LASIK surgery at Jamsil Bright Eyes Ophthalmology, I'm so comfortable now.
I deliberated a lot and compared many options before deciding, so I'm very satisfied, and the dryness in my eyes has genuinely improved so much compared to before!
Smile LASIK? I'll look into that too. Thank you.
I had LASIK at Tokyo Eye Clinic and it's not as dry as I expected! I'm really satisfied with it ㅎㅎ
If you have dry eyes and undergo LASIK surgery, your dryness will worsen. Everyone I know who had it experienced worsened dry eye symptoms.
Use a humidifier to control the humidity and apply a warm compress with the Mybom Care device. Finally, press your eyelids with a cotton swab.
If yellowish oil comes out, wipe it away. Managing your eyes this way will improve your dry eye condition.
