Hello ladies! I'm Lina from the UAE, and I'm seriously considering traveling to Seoul for double eyelid surgery. I've heard a lot about the natural and safe results there, but I'm unsure if the trip from the Gulf is worth the hassle, cost, and time away from home.
I mean, there are good clinics in Dubai and Abu Dhabi too, but I hear the expertise and skill in Korea are something else, especially for a natural look. But I don't know if the difference is truly worth the cost of flights, hotel, and follow-up later. Has anyone here traveled from the Gulf for surgery and felt it was the right decision?
How did you decide it was worth it? And what's the first step if you don't have recommendations? Any tips for preparation or researching options? I'm not in a rush, but I want to understand everything well before spending the money and time 🤔

I totally get your dilemma, Lina! I'm also from abroad and have had the same thought — is it worth the hassle of flying so far, or is it enough to just get it done locally? It seems like many people say Korean techniques are different, but honestly, I'm still confused about how much of a difference there really is compared to good places near us, haha. Maybe you could try asking in forums for people from the Gulf region who have been to Seoul? They might be able to give a realistic perspective on the cost-benefit. 😊
This perfectly matches my situation! I was thinking the same thing about whether to go to Seoul or stay here, because I've heard the techniques there are really different. But the price and finding a schedule are so complicated. I hope to get some advice from people who have already been there 😊
I'm also from abroad, so I really understand how you feel. Long flights and high costs are a real pressure. I think you should research thoroughly by looking at doctors' portfolios, reading experiences from people who have gone, and perhaps consulting friends who have had procedures done in Seoul to see if it's worth it.
