Hello, my name is May. I'm planning to get a small petit procedure done in Korea for the first time, but the issue is I have to return to my country just 3-4 days after the procedure 😅. I'm a bit worried about swelling and would like to know what I should prepare.
Has anyone who had a similar procedure flown or traveled long distances afterward? Does the swelling subside quickly? I'm also looking for suggestions on what to buy to make recovery at home easier, like cooling pads or supplements. Things that are compact and can fit in my luggage.
I'd love to get advice from those with experience on what to prioritize and if there are any lightweight items for managing swelling that are easy to carry. Thank you! 🙏

Hi May! I love your question 😊 I'd love to know if you actually experienced swelling, because I'm planning to do the same thing next month and I'm worried about traveling like this too!
My last trip to Seoul was also very rushed, and I had to fly out three or four days after the procedure 😅 My recommendation is to bring some cooling eye patches and sheet masks. They're light, don't take up much space, and you can use them on the plane, which I found helpful! Also, basic things like drinking plenty of water and sleeping with your head elevated are very important. Recovery speed varies from person to person, but my friends all said the first week is crucial. Good luck! ~
Hi May! I'm also thinking about trying a minor procedure in Korea but I'm worried about swelling, so reading through your post has been super helpful! I hope someone shares their experience about flying shortly after, I'd love to know how to manage swelling during the trip home too 🙏
Hey May! I also had double eyelid surgery in Korea and flew back after 3-4 days. I wanted to ask what size you chose for your first procedure, as sometimes the swelling can differ depending on the amount. 😊
