Hello! My name is Praew and I'm from Thailand 😊 I'm thinking about getting something done on my face for the first time in Korea, but honestly from the start I've had no idea where to trust and what I should check.
So I wanted to ask you all—if you're foreigners who've had procedures at Korean beauty clinics, where did you find them? What should I look out for? Once I go for a consultation, is it really important to still have a translator, or are there clinics where the staff speak English well?
I feel like communication and understanding each other properly is the most important thing. How can I check into the clinic's background? Does anyone have recommendations on what I should look at before making a decision? I'd really appreciate genuine advice ✨

Hi Pra! I totally understand your feeling, communication is really crucial 😊 I'm also foreign and what helped me the most was chatting first via email or WhatsApp before coming, so I could see how responsive they are and make sure they understand what we need. There are lots of clinics with English-speaking staff, so you don't always need an interpreter, but definitely confirm beforehand before your appointment!
I totally understand how you feel! I think the most important thing is to communicate your thoughts clearly, so finding a clinic where you can communicate in a language you're comfortable with is really key. Before I go, I'd check out their social media and consultation pages to see if they have experience with international patients.
