Hi everyone! I'm Indah from Indonesia, and I'm seriously considering getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul. I've wanted it for a long time, but I've always hesitated due to the effort and cost involved. Now I'm starting to Google and see many people from outside Korea going there for treatments, which has made me wonder if it's truly worth it or just hype.
What confuses me is that there seem to be so many clinic and doctor options in Korea, but how do you choose a safe one? And what's the recovery time like? I'm afraid of returning to Jakarta and suddenly having complications or something. Is it easy to follow up with treatment from afar? I also don't have much insight into the total cost or what preparations are needed. Has anyone experienced this? Please share your process and decision-making!
I guess what worries me most is whether the results will truly be different and long-lasting, or if I could achieve the same results by having surgery in Jakarta. But I've also heard that the quality and techniques in Korea are on a different level. But is it really worth the hassle of traveling, finding accommodation, the language barrier, all of that?
