Hi everyone! So I've been thinking about coming to Korea for an aesthetic procedure, but honestly I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed about the whole financial side of it. I know the procedures themselves can be more affordable here than back home, but when you add in flights, accommodation, time off work... it starts adding up fast and I'm not even sure how to break it all down.
I guess my main questions are: How many days do most people actually need for the whole trip? Like, if you're getting a procedure, do you need a few days before and after for recovery, or can you kind of just fly in, get it done, and leave? And has anyone here figured out a realistic way to budget for everything combined? I'm trying to figure out if I should be looking at flights from different US cities, or if it's worth just doing this all at once or spacing it out somehow.
Also curious — did anyone end up choosing a shorter vs. longer stay? I've heard you want to be close by for follow-ups, but I'm not sure how strict that actually is. Any advice on how to approach the planning without freaking out about costs would be really helpful. I want to do this right but I also don't want to break the bank!
