Hi everyone, I'm Ying. I'm considering getting a nose filler in Korea, but my vacation time is limited; I need to fly back home within a week. I'd like to ask you ladies, how long does recovery usually take for non-surgical nose fillers?
I've heard there might be some swelling and bruising, but I'm not sure exactly how many days it takes for it to subside. Has anyone had this procedure done? Will there be any problems flying during the recovery period? I'm worried about going home with a swollen nose 😅
Also, I'd like to know what precautions I need to take during the recovery period? For example, can I avoid touching my face or exercising? If you have any experience with this, thank you so much! I'd love to hear your honest experiences!

I completely understand your concerns! I'm also a foreigner with a short vacation, so I'm really worried about not being able to go home after my appointment 😅. However, I heard from a friend that the swelling after a nose filler usually subsides in a few days, but everyone's situation is different, so it's probably best to ask the medical staff for a specific timeframe to be on the safe side. Wishing you a successful surgery!
Hi Ing! From my friend's experience, she said the swelling was most noticeable on the first and second day, then gradually reduced. She flew back a week later and there was still some swelling, but she could cover it up with makeup and sunglasses 😅 It's probably best to ask the clinic directly about the recovery timeline, as everyone is different, especially regarding when it's safe to fly.
I was worried about the same thing! Returning home in a week is quite tight 😅 My friend said her face was swollen for 3-4 days after the procedure, and she had to apply ice and wear a mask before getting on the plane. It seems that it's important to follow the doctor's instructions carefully. I think it's a good idea to talk to them thoroughly before the procedure!
Mine looked a bit swollen for the first few days, but wearing large glasses helped on my flight back abroad, lol. I recommend asking the clinic when it will be safe to fly, because everyone recovers at a different time!
I was just as worried as you were back then! 😅 In my experience, there will be quite a bit of swelling in the first few days, but everyone is different, so I recommend you ask the specialist at the place you plan to have the procedure done for specific advice on a reasonable timeframe before flying — because many factors affect recovery.
