It is inconvenient to change clothes after surgery.
Do you have any tips on simple DIY projects like changing the position of the front closure, zipper, or buttons, or adding Velcro or snaps? Also, do you recommend materials for hospital use or going out, or find places for quick repairs? Please share your experiences with sewing and temporary fixes.

I can't imagine how uncomfortable it must be after the surgery. Back then, a dress with front buttons was really the most comfortable for me.
I also found it much easier when I switched to magnetic buttons during my recovery.
Shirts with front closures or zippers are easy to take off, and slightly modifying them with Velcro makes the recovery period much easier.
