I've been wanting to get a cosmetic procedure done, but I'm torn between finding a doctor domestically or traveling to Korea specifically for it. Both options seem to have their pros and cons, and I'm finding it hard to decide.

Going to Korea has the advantage of seeing many online case studies and positive reviews, and the doctors there are indeed very experienced. However, the downsides are needing to take time off work, buying plane tickets, and arranging accommodation, which incurs significant costs and time investment. Getting it done domestically would be much more convenient, but I'm not entirely sure how to assess a doctor's skill level and ensure safety. Another concern is the recovery period; if any issues arise, would it be more troublesome to handle them domestically...

Have any of you made similar choices? How did you weigh these factors? What ultimately led you to decide whether or not to go to Korea? I'm especially keen to hear from those with practical experience, as I'm genuinely quite conflicted.
