Hi everyone, I'm Oanh from Vietnam. I'm considering flying to Seoul for double eyelid surgery, but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort and money. I've seen some before-after photos online, and the techniques there seem sophisticated, but I'm still worried about practical issues like flight costs, accommodation, and recovery time.
I have some questions and don't know who to ask: if I get it done in Vietnam, will the results be significantly worse? Or is it just that I'm hearing too much marketing? And more importantly, for those of you who have had surgery in Seoul, how long did it take for you to be able to fly back? I'm worried I won't be able to take a long leave of absence to stay for recovery.
I'm really uncertain right now. Has anyone been in a similar situation or considered this? Any advice from your personal experience would be very helpful. Thank you all!

I can totally understand your concerns! I was in the same boat last year, agonizing over it. I decided to consult with a few clinics domestically first before making a decision. In the end, I realized the key wasn't the location, but finding a doctor who's a good fit for you and clearly communicating your expectations – both are crucial no matter where you go. If you do decide to go to Seoul, I'd recommend setting aside at least a week to ten days for recovery to be on the safe side, so you don't feel rushed to catch a flight. Hope you find a solution that makes you happy!
On here. I totally understand your concern. I'm thinking the same thing. Not sure if the travel time and cost will really be worth it. I've heard the results are good, but I'd really like to hear from friends who have tried it, especially regarding going home and recovery time. 😅
Hi Oanh! I'm thinking the exact same thing, so I totally understand your concerns. Hmm, I'm also wondering if it's worth traveling all the way to Seoul or if staying local is enough, but from what I've read, many people say the process really requires a decent recovery period before you can get back to normal. Hopefully, someone can share a more concrete experience with both of us!
