Hi everyone, I'm Ratna from Indonesia and I'm planning aesthetic treatment in Korea next year. My concern is how to find a truly trustworthy and professional clinic, especially considering the language barrier.
I'd like to hear from those of you who have been there or lived there—what was the process like? Did they provide interpreters or staff who spoke fluent Indonesian or English? And what should I check before booking a consultation? I'm worried that miscommunication could lead to less than expected treatment results.
Can anyone share their experiences with researching clinics? Are there any red flags to avoid? Thank you in advance! 😊

Hey Ratna! I'm actually planning something similar next year and the language thing is my biggest worry too — so totally feel you. From what I've read, a lot of places have English-speaking coordinators, and some even have translation services, so it's definitely worth asking during the consultation booking if they can accommodate your language needs. I've been trying to message clinics directly through their website chat to test their English response before committing to anything!
I'm worried about this too! My suggestion is to look for experiences shared by Chinese users who have been there on social media beforehand. This way, you can find out which places are more welcoming to international patients. Also, when you consult with them, write down your needs and concerns in detail and send them to them to see how quickly they respond and how professional they are. This will give you a preliminary idea of whether they value international patients. 😊
