I am worried about scars from nose and eye surgery. I would appreciate it if you could share your experiences regarding criteria for selecting sunscreen during recovery (physical, chemical, SPF, and reapplication), recommendations for scar concealers or foundations, and the timing of use and reapplying methods.
Since I have sensitive skin, I would also be grateful for examples of ingredient lists or specific phrases I should ask the doctor about.

After surgery, be sure to ask the hospital, “When can I use sunscreen/makeup?” Once permitted, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of mineral sunscreen (zinc oxide/titanium dioxide) SPF 50 PA++++—primarily fragrance-free and hypoallergenic—and reapply every 2 to 3 hours.
Use concealer and foundation only after the wound has completely healed, and be sure to ask the hospital if using silicone gel or sheet masks is also acceptable!
