Hello, it's Honoka. I'm planning to have a consultation for beauty treatments in Seoul next month, but I'm a bit worried about the language barrier. My English is at a basic level, and I can barely speak any Korean. How do you all manage?
Honestly, I'm not sure if English alone will be sufficient, or if I should look for facilities with Japanese-speaking staff... My friend mentioned using a translation app, but I worry about how that would work for complex discussions.
If anyone has experience with consultations, I'd love to hear about it. I'm hoping to learn about any tips or tricks you used to communicate effectively beyond just language, so I can use them as a reference. Thank you in advance!
