Hi, this is Asuka! I'm so excited because I've decided to go to Seoul next month! 😍
I often use K-beauty skincare products in Japan, but I'd like to try some products that are only available locally, and also experience treatments at clinics. I'd especially like to have my skin properly assessed and receive recommendations for products and treatments that are right for me. What areas do you all usually visit? Please tell me about any famous beauty districts or hidden gems! 🙏
Also, for those who have actually received skincare treatments, I'd love to know what the process was like and if there's anything I should prepare beforehand. I'm worried about the language barrier, and everything will be new to me... I'd be so happy to hear about your experiences!

Akasuka-chan! I'm planning a trip to Seoul too, and I'd love a consultation as well. I'd like an expert to assess my skin and recommend suitable products. I'm really looking forward to hearing from someone who's been there already, because I'm eagerly anticipating it!
Wow, your trip to Seoul sounds amazing! I'm also curious if you can find K-beauty products you used in Japan at a cheaper price in Seoul? Also, have you had any skin consultations or treatments before, or is this your first time trying them?
Hi Asuka, I just returned from Seoul last month too! I think the most important thing is to find a place that can thoroughly advise you on your skin condition beforehand, because everyone's skin is so different. I suggest preparing a list of questions written in Korean or English, and using Google Translate beforehand to be on the safe side 😊 Have a wonderful trip!
Asuka, your trip will be wonderful! My little tip: try skincare products from local pharmacies first before going to clinics, because the pharmacy staff will give you a free consultation about your skin type 😊 As for clinics, I was also scared at first, but the staff were very patient with my language, so don't worry!
I feel the same anxiety as you! First, I recommend finding a place with English-speaking staff or language support services, as detailed communication about skincare is very important 😊 And remember to bring your ID or passport, and prepare a bag to carry your purchases!
Wow, that trip to Seoul was so much fun! I also wanted to ask, during consultations at aesthetic clinics there, do they speak English or do I need to bring a translator? I'm a bit worried about communication, haha.
To Asuka, that's a great question! I'm also worried about the language barrier, and I'm wondering if there are interpreters at clinics during consultations, or if it's something that can be managed with gestures and translation apps.😅
