Hi everyone, I'm Mengju from Taiwan. I've been considering getting a beauty treatment in Korea, but honestly, I have absolutely no idea how to plan the trip and budget. Just thinking about the airfare, accommodation, and the treatment itself is giving me a headache, and I also have to consider whether I can go out during the recovery period, which is making me a bit nervous.
I'd like to ask those of you with experience: how many days should I stay in Korea? Is it okay to go shopping on the day of the treatment, or should I allocate a few days to rest at the hotel? I've heard that some treatments require multiple sessions; will the cost differ significantly then? I haven't decided on any specific treatments yet; I just want to understand the overall time and money planning.
If anyone has previously come to Korea alone for a treatment, could you share how you planned it? Especially regarding budgeting, are there any tips or unexpected expenses I should prepare for? I want to do my research, but the information online is sometimes a bit chaotic, and I don't know which experiences are genuine. Thank you!

This was my first time going to South Korea for treatment, so I completely understand how you feel 😅 I think you need to carefully plan your stay because each type of treatment has a different recovery time, so you should probably research exactly what you plan to do beforehand to arrange your schedule more effectively!
I've been there once and found that thorough preparation is crucial! I suggest making a list of things you want to try beforehand, then calling/chatting with the places to ask for details about recovery time, as each type of activity is different and cannot be given in general terms. This way, you'll know how long you need to stay in Korea and can plan your shopping and rest more effectively. Have a great trip!
I went alone last time, and my biggest piece of advice is to figure out what you want to do before booking your flight. Different programs have vastly different reopening times, and some might require you to stay a few extra days. I didn't think it through and ended up staying two extra days, which I felt was a bit of a waste. So, it's very important to check in advance!
