Hi everyone, I'm Uyen from Vietnam. I'm planning a trip to South Korea to try a cosmetic procedure I've been researching for a while. But my biggest worry is the overall budget. I know the cost of the procedure can vary depending on the location, but I'm not entirely sure how to budget it reasonably.
I'd like to ask if any of you have ever planned a trip like this before? What else do I need to factor in besides the procedure itself – like airfare, accommodation, food, and perhaps a few days of recovery time? I'm a little worried about spending more than expected if the recovery takes longer than I anticipated.
Do you have any experiences to share? How should I plan the entire trip, and how can I budget more effectively? I'm quite new to this and feel a bit overwhelmed 😭

I completely understand your concerns! It was my first time going to Korea for treatment too, and budget planning was really complicated 😅 Besides the treatment fees, I later found out that the cost of food and accommodation during the recovery period also needs to be factored in, as well as a flexible budget for if you need to stay a few more days to observe the situation. So I suggest you keep some extra cash on hand so you won't be caught off guard at the last minute~
I'm worried about the budget too! From my experience, make sure to set aside some extra money for emergencies because the recovery period might take longer than expected. Also, staying close to where you're going will save you a lot of time and money 💕
This is also my first time going to Korea for a project, so I totally understand your concerns! Besides the surgery costs, I think it's important to set aside some money for round-trip airfare, hotel, and meals during recovery. It's best to budget a little more just in case. I suggest you consult with someone beforehand about the recovery time; this will help you better plan your trip and vacation.
Wen, I understand! When I first went, I was completely preoccupied with the budget. My personal advice is to factor in not only the treatment fee, but also round-trip transportation costs, accommodation expenses, and food expenses during the recovery period. Also, something that's surprisingly easy to forget is the cost of aftercare items needed after the treatment and how to spend time on days when you can't go out.
