Hi everyone! I'm heading to Korea next month for a minor cosmetic procedure and I'm starting to prepare for my recovery. I've heard that post-procedure care is really important, so I want to get some over-the-counter care products ready in advance.
Right now, I'm a bit unsure about what to bring. Some people have recommended things like cold compresses, silicone scar sheets, and soothing gels, but I don't know which of these are actually helpful. I'm also not sure if it's better to buy them in my home country and bring them with me, or if it's more convenient to purchase them in Korea. Has anyone here undergone a similar procedure before? Could you share what care products you brought and how effective they were?
Also, are these products easily available at Korean drugstores? What's the general price range (though I know it can vary)? I'd love to hear about your real experiences. Thanks!

I totally get how you feel! I was also agonizing over whether to buy beforehand before my trip. Later, I found out it's actually super easy to find them in Korean convenience stores and drugstores, and there are even more options. So, I recommend buying them after you arrive. This way, you can also choose products based on your actual recovery needs.
Yes! Last time I traveled to Korea, I bought various items both before I went and while I was there. I discovered that general pharmacies in Korea have a very wide selection of products, and the prices are affordable. So, I didn't need to bring anything from Thailand 😅. I think you can also wait to buy them there because there are many options. However, if you're worried, you can buy a small amount to have at home before you go.
