Hi everyone, I'm Juan. I've been considering getting a cosmetic procedure in South Korea, but to be honest, I'm a bit overwhelmed. My main concern is the total cost, including airfare, accommodation, and the procedure itself. I've heard that South Korea has a lot of advantages in cosmetic procedures, but I've never had one abroad before, so I'm a little nervous.
I'd like to ask those of you with experience: how many days is a reasonable number of days to stay in South Korea? Is it possible to have the procedure done on the same day and then stay there for the recovery period? I'm thinking that with the initial consultation and follow-up appointments, the whole trip might take about two weeks? But I'm not entirely sure. Also, how do you allocate your budget? Do you first determine the approximate cost range of the procedure, and then add food, accommodation, and transportation?
I'd also really appreciate any advice. Are there any pitfalls I should be aware of beforehand, such as communication issues or the appointment process? I mainly want to clear my head and avoid being caught off guard later. It would be great if someone could share their experience!

I understand, I had the same anxieties at first! In my case, I stayed for about 10 days, including the initial consultation and recovery period, but the treatment varies from person to person, so I think it's best to ask for an accurate schedule during the consultation first. It's a good idea to think of your budget as being divided into treatment costs + accommodation costs (lodging, meals, transportation). I understand your concerns about the language barrier, but many clinics have translation apps or interpreters available, so it's surprisingly manageable. Good luck!
