I'm looking up information about LASIK pain, but the reviews are so contradictory that it's making me even more worried.
Some people say it was only difficult for a day or two, while others say it was hard to even open their eyes for several days. ㅠㅠ
Does LASIK pain tend to vary significantly depending on the condition of the eyes or the hospital's procedures?
I'm also curious if they explain the pain and recovery period in detail during the examination.
For those who have experienced LASIK pain, at what point did it start to feel bearable?

They say it doesn't hurt as much as you'd think.
I felt that way for about 3 days.
It got a bit better after a week, but I still experienced some glare!
I think places that perform surgery neatly also tend to be less painful. I had mine done at Tokyo Eye Clinic, and it was only a little uncomfortable right at the beginning, but I recovered quickly.
They said recovery is faster than expected.
The peak pain for LASEK surgery is usually on days 2-3, before the protective lens is removed, and after that, it becomes more bearable. The level of pain can vary significantly depending on your individual corneal condition and the hospital's equipment, such as pain-free LASEK. So, be sure to ask about their pain management methods during your consultation.
