The advantage of going to China is obvious: it's convenient. I don't need to take too much time off work, and I can be with my family during the recovery period. However, I've heard that South Korea has very advanced technology and experience in this area, and friends who have been there say the doctors are very meticulous. But going to South Korea would complicate things in terms of cost, time, and post-operative care, and I'm not very familiar with the process.
