I'm considering flying from Vietnam to Seoul for double eyelid surgery. I've wanted to change my look for a long time, but I'm not sure if traveling that far is worth it. Has anyone here had cosmetic surgery in South Korea before? I'm worried about the high costs of flights and accommodation, plus the recovery time.
I've looked at some information online and heard that doctors in Seoul are very experienced, but I'm not entirely sure if that's enough reason for me to spend so much. If I had it done in Vietnam, it would be much cheaper, but I'm concerned about the quality. Can anyone share their thoughts on this? I need to hear from people who have actually gone through it.
Also, I'd like to ask about the process of finding a suitable place in Seoul. Is it possible to book appointments remotely? Is it difficult if you don't speak Korean? I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by all of this, so I'm just looking for practical advice from you all.

I'm also considering flying from China to Seoul for this surgery, and I completely understand your concerns! The cost of flights and accommodation is definitely significant, but I've heard that doctors in Seoul are indeed very experienced. Many people say the results and professionalism are worth it, though ultimately, you have to weigh the costs yourself. Has anyone here shared their experience from consultation to recovery? I'm especially curious about what to do if there's a language barrier.
I totally understand the concern about travel expenses from Vietnam. I also came from Japan, so I had similar worries. Honestly, it seems like you can send consultation photos via email beforehand and consult using a translation app, so it might be worth reaching out to them. Also, if you have any acquaintances in Korea, having them help you out locally would be a great comfort.
