Since I wear glasses and contact lenses all the time, my eyes get so tired, and I'm seriously considering whether I really need to get vision correction surgery. My friends have already had it done and say it's a whole new world, but I'm scared of potential side effects, so I'm just searching for LASIK specialists and agonizing over it every day!!

Now that I'm actually about to go, I don't really know the criteria for which place is truly good, and I feel like I need to mentally prepare myself before going for a consultation, so I'm posting this. If anyone with experience knows what you considered most important when deciding on a LASIK specialist, or has any realistic advice or tips for choosing a hospital, please share them with me.
