Hey everyone, I'm seriously considering making the trip from the US to Seoul for a double eyelid procedure, but I'm kind of torn. Part of me thinks it makes sense cost-wise and the clinics there seem really experienced with this, but then I think about the flight, recovery time away from home, and the whole logistics of it. Has anyone here done this from abroad? I'm curious if people actually feel like it was worth the hassle.
I've been researching and obviously there are a lot of skilled surgeons in Korea, but I'm also nervous about being so far away if something feels off during recovery. Plus I'm not sure how much I'd actually save once I factor in flights and a place to stay for however long I need to be there. I guess I'm trying to figure out—is this something that really makes a difference in the final result, or am I just caught up in the idea of going to Korea for it?
Would love to hear from anyone who's been through this decision, whether you went through with it or decided to do it closer to home instead. What made you decide either way? And any honest thoughts on managing recovery as a foreigner? Thanks!

I was thinking the same thing, especially regarding recovery time and follow-up visits if any issues arise later. By the way, have you researched how long is typically recommended to stay in Korea after surgery? I'm curious if it's possible to go home in 1-2 weeks or if it needs to be longer.
