This is my first post. I'm currently in Japan, but I've been considering double eyelid surgery for a while, and recently I've started wondering if I should get it done in Seoul. I often watch K-beauty content, and it seems like Seoul clinics have a good reputation for their technology, and I've heard that the prices might be more reasonable than in Japan... But honestly, I'm very anxious about going abroad for surgery.

What are the actual challenges like language barriers and post-operative follow-up? For those who had surgery in Seoul, what did you do if any problems arose after returning to Japan? Also, I don't know how many visits are necessary. I'm also wondering if the difference between getting it done in Japan and overseas is really that significant.

Before making a decision, I'd like to hear from people who have actually gone through with it. What factors made you decide to have the surgery overseas?
