Hey everyone, I'm Yanti from Indonesia and I'm really going back and forth on this. I really want to get double eyelid surgery but I'm not sure if it's worth it to fly to Seoul just for that. I've been googling everywhere and it seems like a lot of people say the quality is great, but you know... plane tickets, hotel, plus the surgery cost itself adds up quite a bit, right? Plus there's the recovery time I need to consider.
So my question is, has anyone here traveled from abroad directly to Seoul for an eye procedure? How was your experience? Do you think it's worth it or should I just look for options in Indonesia instead? I'm also a bit worried about follow-up appointments if anything needs to be arranged after I go home—is it really complicated or how does it work?
Also, how do you go about choosing a clinic? There are so many options and I don't know where to start. Any tips for first-timers? It seems like I'd need a consultation first, but I'm not sure if the language barrier will be an issue. Sorry for all the questions, but I really need advice from someone with experience. Thanks in advance! 🙏

I totally understand how you feel, Yanti! I had similar concerns myself. I have a question though—if you're going to get surgery in Seoul, do you think it's better to choose a hospital that offers online consultations beforehand and language support? Since you're coming from Indonesia, I think it's really important to figure out how you'll handle follow-up care after surgery 😊
Hey, I totally agree with you—this has been on my mind lately too! I get that going all the way to Seoul is really expensive, but from what I've heard from a lot of friends, the language barrier isn't actually that big of an issue—most decent clinics have international services. Maybe it's worth looking into getting some consultations online first in certain areas!
