Is it worth flying all the way to Seoul for double eyelid surgery?

Hi everyone, I'm Yan. I've been thinking about getting double eyelid surgery recently. I know it can be done domestically, but I've heard that the techniques and aesthetics in Seoul might be a better fit for what I'm looking for. I'm just torn about whether to specifically fly over for it. The costs (flights, accommodation, time) add up to quite a bit. Has anyone tried going through all this hassle?

My main concern is that if the surgical results aren't ideal, follow-up revisions would be very troublesome since I can't travel back and forth frequently. Also, while I've heard some things about Korean surgeries, I also know that results vary from person to person, and there are no absolute guarantees. I wanted to ask everyone, what practical factors do you think one needs to consider when traveling specifically for surgery? For example, how long you can stay there during the recovery period, and how to handle follow-ups.

If I decide to go, should I do my research first to understand the medical process and find a reliable place? Are there any sisters willing to share their experiences or offer some advice? I'm really weighing the pros and cons right now and haven't fully made up my mind.
