Hey everyone! So I'm at this crossroads and would love to hear how others have thought through this. I've been considering getting a procedure done, and I've found some good options back home in the US, but I've also been looking into doing it while visiting Korea. Part of me is really drawn to the Korea option—the clinics seem advanced, people always rave about the experience, and honestly it feels like an adventure. But then I get stuck thinking about logistics, aftercare when I'm back home, and whether it's worth the travel.
I guess my main worry is: if something needs follow-up care or if I have questions afterward, am I making it harder on myself by being so far away? And also, how did you guys weigh the cost difference, if there was one? I know prices vary so much depending on what you get and where you go, so I'm not even sure I'm comparing apples to apples.
I'm leaning toward maybe doing a consultation virtually first to get more info, but I'm curious—for those of you who chose Korea, what was the deciding factor? And if you went the home route instead, what made you feel more comfortable with that choice? Just trying to think this through logically and not just get swept up in the Korea hype, you know?

I'm also struggling with this issue! I think the follow-up care and distance issues you mentioned are really practical. I'm also wondering what to do if there's a situation that requires a follow-up visit. Although many people say the experience in Korea is great, the long distance is indeed a concern. However, I'm also leaning towards consulting first. At least I can understand the process and possibilities more clearly, and then I'll be more confident in making a decision, right?
