Hi! My name is Khuan, and I'm from Thailand. I'm thinking of trying an aesthetic treatment when I go to Korea, but the problem is I'm not very good at reading Korean 😭 When I look at reviews on websites or apps, I get confused about which information is reliable. Does anyone have any tips for reading reviews from other countries, or what I should be wary of?
I'd also like to ask if anyone has ever encountered strange things in reviews, like reviews that seem to be written by bots, or reviews full of unbelievable before-and-after photos? I want to know what I should be careful about. After all, everyone's decisions are different, and the results are different too.
If anyone has experience in this or knows how to find reliable information, could you please share it with me? 🙏 Thank you in advance!

Yes, I understand how you feel 😅 At first, I was also very confused about where to find reliable information. But I stopped believing that every review is genuine. If it seems "too good" or the wording seems copied, I skip it. I try to find reviews from Thai or foreigners who tend to be a little more honest.
Haha! I completely understand how you feel. I've also been confused when searching for information as a foreigner 😅 My advice is to look for comments with specific details and not just empty praise. Also, compare reviews from different platforms; that will be more reliable.
Hello Kuan! I had the same concerns when I was planning to get a procedure in Korea... Have you happened to be in Korea before, or are you planning to ask your foreign friends directly? I found that looking for reviews in English or Thai was much more trustworthy 😅
To Quan! I had the same problem 😅 Before coming to Korea, I always look for before-and-after photos from actual foreign users on social media. Real posts are often more helpful than official websites. Also, when reading reviews, I trust those that explain the process in detail rather than those that are "too perfect." Good luck!
Take it easy. I'm in the same situation 😅 Right now, I'm trying to find Thai people who have been there before and ask them directly, or look for international communities that might have reviews in English. It's true what you said, you have to be careful of old or strange reviews. Thank you for bringing this up 💕
Hey Kwan! I totally get the language barrier thing—I had the same worry before my trip 😅 Honestly, I look for reviews with lots of actual detailed photos (not just the perfect angles) and I try to find people writing in English or Thai in the comments if possible. I also watch YouTube videos of people documenting their experiences, which helps way more than just reading text reviews. And yeah, definitely be suspicious of reviews that all sound the same or have those crazy transformation photos—those are usually not realistic!
