Hello, my name is Chika. I'm seriously considering getting double eyelid surgery in Seoul recently, but I'm honestly unsure if it's worth traveling from Japan for it, so I'd like to ask for your advice.
While I can get the procedure done in Japan, I often hear that clinics in Seoul have extensive experience, and there might be differences in cost as well... However, when I consider the travel expenses, accommodation costs, and the risk of not being able to get post-operative follow-ups in Japan, I doubt if it's truly worth it. Has anyone here actually traveled from overseas to get a procedure done?
Before I make a decision, what criteria do you think I should use to decide? I'd be grateful if you could tell me about things like language barriers and post-operative support systems from your actual experiences. Any experiences or advice from people who are struggling with the same dilemma would be truly helpful.

I've thought the same thing too, Chika! Seriously, the cost of plane tickets and hotels is no joke, and what if there are complications? I ended up choosing to consult online first with a few places in Seoul to compare and hear about their experiences, before deciding if it was worth it or not. Maybe you could try that method too to be more certain before committing?
I'm also considering this! I understand your concerns about the cost of flights, hotels, and the follow-up care from afar. I think the most important thing is to thoroughly research their post-operative support system, as that's what's holding me back—I don't want to take the risk if something goes wrong and I can't return immediately.
