Hi! I recently returned from Seoul after getting a small fractional laser treatment. Now I'm working with fractional lasers and it seems like my skin is really interested. Has anyone here had this done? Please help me with how to care for fractional laser treatments and post-treatment care.
During this time, I'm not sure what I should and shouldn't do. Do I need to use bandages? How long should I keep the fractional laser treatment area covered? Are there any ingredients I should avoid in my skincare or consumables? Please share your suggestions and experiences! Also, what should I watch out for in case of any complications?
Most of all, I hope my skin heals well. I know it takes time naturally, but I want to take good care of it during this period to get good results. Honestly, I need to learn from your experiences!

I also had a similar procedure done in Seoul last time, and the most important thing is to follow the instructions from where you had it done — each place has a different protocol, so it's best to double-check with them whether you need to use gauze and when you can wash your face normally. I found that keeping the skin clean and using gentle products helped with faster recovery, but you should definitely ask your treatment provider for specific advice! 😊
I totally get how you're feeling! I had a similar treatment done in Seoul, and the recovery period can definitely be a bit unsettling. My advice is to just follow your doctor's instructions closely, because everyone's skin is different, and your doctor knows best what specific treatment you underwent. In my own experience, patience and keeping my daily skincare routine simple really helped, but the most important thing is to have regular follow-up appointments so your doctor can check on your progress!
I've also done post-microneedling care! My experience is that keeping your face clean is important during that time. The instruction card the doctor gave me said not to touch it unnecessarily, so I obediently followed instructions, haha. I personally used very gentle moisturizing products, which I felt helped my skin feel a bit more comfortable. I hope your recovery goes smoothly too!
