Hi everyone! So I'm seriously thinking about doing a procedure while I'm in Korea, but I'm honestly a bit overwhelmed trying to figure out the total cost. Like, I know the procedure itself is a big chunk of money, but then there's flights, accommodation, food... and I'm not even sure how many days I need to stay for recovery or follow-ups. Has anyone actually done this and tracked their total spending?
I'm from the US, so flights aren't cheap, and I'm trying to figure out if it's even worth it financially when you factor everything in. Plus I'm nervous about taking time off work—do most people need a week? Two weeks? I feel like recovery really varies depending on what you're getting done, right?
Also, should I be looking at accommodation near a specific area, or does it not really matter? I want to be realistic about my budget instead of showing up and being shocked. If anyone's been through this whole planning process, I'd love to hear how you approached it without going crazy trying to calculate every little thing. Any tips for staying sane while budgeting for this?
