Hi, it's Kaede. I'm planning to get a minor cosmetic procedure in Korea next month, but I'm worried about the swelling afterward... Since I'll be traveling, I'm unsure how to manage it until my return flight.
Are there any effective items or things I should bring to help reduce swelling? I've heard about cooling sheets and supplements, but I'd love to hear from people who have actually used them and what their experience was like.
Also, I'm not quite sure about the level of skincare I can use from the day of the procedure until my departure... If anyone has insights, even just general tips, I'd really appreciate it. This is my first time getting a procedure, so I'm feeling quite anxious.

I've also felt this nervous before my first treatment! As a suggestion, maybe bring plenty of cooling sheets or eye masks from the convenience stores here—I think it might help, though I'm not sure how much, haha. What seems most important is communicating with the medical staff after the treatment, asking directly how many days until you can resume your normal skincare routine, because everyone's response is different 🙏
I'm also considering doing something similar, so I'm very interested in your post! I've heard many people bring ice packs or chilled products from home to help reduce swelling, but I'm not sure if it's actually effective. I hope the ladies here can share their experiences so that you and I can learn from them.
I'm also considering getting a similar procedure done in Korea, so I'm really eager to hear about your post-surgery experience! I've heard that cold compresses are indeed helpful, and I'm currently debating what to pack.
